Our laboratories provide services to private companies and public institutions and collaborate in the different lines of research opened by the group. They count on the latest high performance technical scientific equipment and staff specialised in their use.
SUDSlab, the laboratory of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, develops analyses related to the quantity and quality of rainwater filtered and stored inside the pervious pavements and to the processes of hydrocarbon biodegradation.
LAGUC, the laboratory of Geosynthetics, deals with the different needs of characterisation of geosynthetic materials. It is accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) according to the criteria set by the standard UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 attesting in this way the technical competence and adequate quality management system.
Laboratory of Asphalt Mixtures is fully equipped to characterise in detail the properties of bitumen and granular material, as well as evaluate the impact of any additive or alternative material added to the design. Besides, it is also endowed with the necessary equipment to fabricate any type of asphalt and sophisticated equipment for mechanical and dynamic tests.
